Blood Plus aka Blood +

This is adapted by a film, titled Blood: The Last Vampire. The series begin with this girl who do high jumps in school. She is Saya, she has a best friend who accompaines her with her trainnings. Saya is adopted by a owner of a resturant. He have two other kids who were adopted by him too.

Saya encounters with a chiropteran in school at night and witnessed the death of her sensei [teacher]. Saya fled for her life and met her chevalier, Hagi, in the classroom. Hagi passed Saya a samurai sword to kill the chiropteran. However, Saya shivers in fear while Hagi took the kill.

Saya have special blood flowing inside her veins which crystalised chiropteran by dripping the blood on them. However, Saya will drip her blood on her speacially designed sword and slash these human killers. Before she take on her duty again, she had a hard time regaining her past. What she has done in the Vietamn war? Why is she in Japan? Why do she needs to have blood transmission weekly? Saya will be forced to be seperated from her family and best friend. Now, she has a mission to look for her twin sister, Diva, and take her life, while encountering Diva's chevaliers. What will awaits Saya and Hagi? Death or happiness?

Chevalier: They are the bodyguards of Saya and Diva. Only when both of them allows a human to drink their blood. The human will process lightning speed and great strength.

Chiropteran: Humans turned into hulk-like creatures. Huge and powerful, however, chevaliers process much more powerful abilities. These creatures are hungered for human blood, hence killing innocence humans.
